Bar Spotlight - La Brasa

March 11, 2015

As BarUp continues to grow within the city of Boston we have been trying to accommodate all different areas and neighborhoods surrounding the city. Many of our users live or work just outside of Boston in surrounding areas like Medford, Somerville, Brookline, etc. In the past few months we have found ourselves exploring bars in these areas and have come across a bar that is worth talking about. La Brasa, located in Somerville has something for everyone. La Brasa is not only a restaurant and bar but it also serves a small market featuring local produce, cheeses, dairy, and other products.

The inside is well laid out and has a great vibe. With massive open windows and an open kitchen to be able to see the grill, the atmosphere is perfect for lunch, dinner, or brunch. The food is extremely fresh, local and everything we ordered was nothing less than top notch. Their menu also rotates very frequently so expect to see something new every time you go.

Their drink menu does not disappoint either. They have a great beer menu and supports mainly local breweries from anything including Nantucket’s Cisco, Charlestown’s Downeast Cider, to Framingham’s Jack Abbey. Whether you are in the mood for a hand crafted cocktail, glass of wine, or a craft beer you will be sure to find something you like.

Like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter to stay up to date on their menu, specials, and events.
